Letter of Support from a Veteran

August 6, 2018

Tamborine for Congress, you’re a special candidate. In my senior year I entered the delayed entry program (DEP) — on September 9, 2001. What a world I was born into. I still feel young, but when you hear about the Iraq Invasion in an Army formation before work, you begin to realize over time the people voting now were being born the same year I participated in the first Iraqi elections. It’s enough time to take a million brown lives, not to mention our soldiers. (I was a casualty liaison in OIFII (Operation Iraqi Freedom II). I sat with the noble dead through the process of dying and I carried caskets, no one cares more than me about dead Americans, but I refuse to privilege them over dead Iraqis).

Your cause is just and you are right. Vets have phenomenal bullshit detection and Tamborine is the real deal. I can’t wait to see you take office.
